Imagine you have a presentation to deliver. Maybe it’s for work, for a volunteer organization, or for your cousin’s wedding toast. As the moment you need to stand up and introduce yourself to a roomful of people approaches, how are you feeling? Does just reading about this scenario make your heartbeat speed up and your palms feel clammy? Maybe you’re feeling good, but you’re working so hard to remember what you want to say that your delivery is robotic. Whatever you struggle with when it comes to public speaking, you can overcome it by attending our beginning-level public speaking workshop.
On Friday, November 2nd from 6 pm to 9 pm and Saturday, November 3rd from 10 am to 6 pm, join SEER Interactive, Diamond and Branch, Downtown San Diego Partnership, Greater Good Storytelling, and Startup Weekend Facilitator Julian Bryant at Seer Interactive’s San Diego location for a public speaking workshop.
Your ticket to Speak for Yourself gets you admission to both days, plus meals and drinks. You’ll receive instruction and mentorship from a diverse group of public speakers, breakout sessions of different sizes so you can pick the size of your audience, hands-on experience in a welcoming and supportive environment, as well as opportunities to socialize and network.
